The time has come
Ok, maybe it hasn't quite come, but if there is a more compelling reason to buy a TV than more of this, please let me know. I'm thinking about saving up my allowance to get more Jon Stewart into my life.
i love jon stewart. yes, i would say he's one of the main reasons we have a tv :) not only is he funny, but he is also this surprising voice of reason calling out of the wilderness of the media. you should watch more jon stewart, pamy. he's celebrity death crush material :)
Agreed. That is my brother-in-law's favorite show. He is always quoting some statistic about how people who watch the daily show were better informed on actual events than newspaper readers or something like that.
There's some good stuff on Rick Santelli and his faux "grassroots campaign" to oppose offering aid to individual homeowners at exiledonline.com. Go to the Santelli Watch section. It will give your mind a heart attack.
The best thing about the John Stewart Show is that the Colbert Report comes on right after it. Stewart and Colbert are a splendid way to spend one hour in the evening.
On a somewhat related note, have you seen 30 Rock? Great Odin's Raven it is the funniest tv show in the world-I can't get enough. And we always watch it on Hulu.com. See there's no need for tv when you can get all the good stuff online!

He also loves The Onion.

Oh, but don't neglect Stephen Colbert. I would have his children.
